Sales from order to cash in one chain

A customer order moves through its own status pipeline and approval. A sales invoice created from it picks up the undelivered balance, and each return line is linked to a line of the sales invoice. Delivery notes, service completion certificates and invoices for payment print with export to PDF, Excel and Word.

What is inside

  1. 01

A pipeline for each order type

An order records the customer’s intent and creates no journal entries. Each order type has its own statuses with colours and “won” and “lost” markers, and the order list is coloured by status. The sales manager approves the order first, then the financial controller.

  2. 02

The sales invoice takes what is left on the order

A sales invoice created from an order is filled with the undelivered balance of each line. The system checks that balance both on save and on posting. There is also an order fulfilment report and a “Cancel undelivered” action.

  3. 03

    Returns across several sales

Each return line is linked to a line of its own sales invoice, so one return can cover goods from several invoices. The cost of returned goods is restored from the original sale. A return request with a reason caps the quantity that can be returned, and the adjustment to the VAT invoice (tax invoice) is created from the return itself.

  4. 04

The contract sets the terms of sale

A contract holds its validity period, a “price includes VAT” flag, a main-contract mark and the VAT event: first event (shipment or payment, whichever comes first), on shipment, on payment or no VAT. A document can be posted only under a contract that is in force.

  5. 05

Printed forms with PDF, Excel and Word export

The system prints the delivery note, service completion certificate, invoice for payment, order form (full and shop-floor versions), return request and approval sheet. Text can be edited right on the form. Signatories are taken as of the document date.

    Made to order

Product parameters such as measurements are entered on the order line and carry over to the production order. A separate order form is printed for the workshop.

Frequently asked questions

Can I see who changed an order?

Yes. Customer orders and sales invoices keep a change history: who changed what and when, shown as “before → after”.

How do I know whether an invoice is paid?

The system does not store payment status as a separate flag. It calculates it from the journal every time, so it cannot drift from the books.

Do we re-enter a CRM deal as an order?

No. The customer order is created from the deal, and the link between them is kept.

Can one return cover goods from several invoices?

Yes. Each return line is linked to a line of its own sales invoice, and the cost is restored from that sale.
